Public invited to open house June 5 on Valley Creek Road corridor study

Posted

The public is invited to an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, on a corridor study of County Highway 16 (Valley Creek Rd.) from Interlachen Parkway to State Highway 95 (Manning Ave.) The open house will be in the Ash Conference Room at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Rd. in Woodbury.
The corridor study will be conducted in partnership with the City of Woodbury. It will analyze current and future needs (highway capacity, intersections, access, right-of-way, drainage, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, etc.) along the corridor to provide a vision that helps guide future improvement opportunities.
At the open house, attendees can meet the project team, provide input on existing conditions, and learn about the schedule and next steps for the study. Materials from the open house will be posted on the project website following the in-person event. The public can visit the project website to view an online engagement opportunity and provide input anytime from June 5 to June 19. There will be no formal presentation at the in-person or virtual open houses.
Construction updates will be posted on the project website at www.co.washington.mn.us/ValleyCreek. For more information, contact Project Manager Andrew Giesen at 651-430-4336 or andrew.giesen@co.washington.mn.us
